SENTENCE


PENGERTIAN SENTENCE


Kalimat (Sentence) diawali dengan huruf kapital dan diakhiri dengan titik (full stop), tanda seru (exclamation mark), atau tanda tanya (question mark).


Kalimat (Sentence) adalah kumpulan kata yang bermakna, berpola subject dan verb, dapat berdiri sendiri, dan menyatakan suatu ide atau gagasan secara lengkap. Dalam penulisannya, suatu kalimat diawali dengan huruf kapital dan diakhiri dengan tanda pengakhir berupa titik (full stop), tanda tanya (question mark), ataupun tanda seru (exclamation mark). Tapi, pada kasus tertentu, kalimat dapat terdiri dari satu kata saja, sehingga strukturnya bukan subject + verb.
